Mono Archive

Project Overview
A digital archive for collecting references, visual fragments, and cultural observations in one evolving system.
Mono Archive was conceived as a living collection rather than a finished catalogue. It needed to hold an expanding range of references and cultural observations while staying open-ended and easy to navigate.
Visual indexing, minimal metadata, and flexible relationships create structure without forcing every reference into a rigid category. Items can surface through association, allowing unexpected connections to emerge as the archive grows.
The result is a lightweight system designed to remain unfinished by nature. It rewards browsing, supports new material, and maintains clarity without limiting the relationships that make an archive useful.

Outcome
The archive needed to remain open-ended while still giving users enough structure to navigate a growing body of references.
Visual indexing and lightweight metadata create relationships between references without forcing a rigid taxonomy.
A flexible archive that stays clear as new material is continuously added.
